Do you have a schedule with your children who don't go to school?

If you have a child that doesn't go to school yet, do you have a schedule for teaching, play time, nap time, snack time or do you just play it by ear? My daughter will be turning two this month and I'm curious to know if a schedule would benefit her. Do you have suggestions for starting a schedule or ideas for learning activities a two year old would be able to understand? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

My schedule is about to change come sept. My youngest will finally be in Headstart. All this previous year, it was wake up bring the 2 older ones to school, Come home feed my 2 year old breakfast. Play some games with her and read. Then she would play quitely in her room for maybe an hour or so then it was time for lunch at 12pm. At 12:15pm I laid her down for a nap and went to go get the 2 older ones from headstart for 12:30pm. (My husband was home of course). Come Sept, my schedule will be FREE from 8am until 12:30pm lol. Good luck on finding activities. I know all 3 of my children love arts and crafts and dancing to silly music with mommy.

Yes and no. We do have some what of a schedule but it is not so strict that I freak out if we don't "stick" to the schedule. We do have regular eating schedules and nap times but the rest is just played by ear. Have structure but also have time for it to change. Kids change daily almost hourly, so our schedules need to as well :)
Visit the libraries and get teaching books for the appropriate age groups. Also, if you haven't already joined one, join a mommy group or a play group that have parents with children that are the same age as your child. Also not sure if you plan to homeschool but join a home schooling group if you do as well. They have alot of these type of groups online as well.
