Is there really DARKNESS??

Have you ever wonder what darkness is? Everything in your surrounding turns to black and you see nothing but darkness? Does darkness really exist? For me, darkness is just a state of mind. It is just the absence of light which makes it dark. There's no such thing as dark, only light. It is the same with hot and cold. Cold things are just things where hotness is taken from them just like light and dark. For you, what does darkness means and does darkness really exist?

For me darkness exist as night and day exist and it's not a state of mind as some pretend it to be. I hope you will not be offended. If I say light is only a state of mind, well that is false but it's a truth. Have a wonderful day as there is a day!

Day and night... at day time, there is the sun that gives us light right? at night time, there is no sun so it is dark right? now, what do you call the absence of sun, which is the light, so it is called darkness right? Darkness is just the absence of light...^_^ light can be measured by its luminousity and darkness can't be measured...^_^

darkness does exist in the creation it existed long before light came into being. they are opposites, both exist, they are most extremes of the universe, darkness - light cold - heat dry - wet hard - soft etc
