The best decade of music?

What decade do you think produced the best music? I loved the '80s, for all the cheesy hair-metal, new-wave, soft-rock, stadium-rock bands it gave us--where would be without Foreigner, Billy Idol, JOurney, or Bon Jovi, hahah! But my all-time favorite music decade was the Nineties. I absolutely LOVED them! I know a lot of people will disagree, but it is my opinion that some of the best music was produced in the '90s. It just seemed like, across the musical genre board, awesome music was being made--from rock (Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Hole, Weezer, Alanis Morissette, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam)to pop (Nsync, Sheryl Crow, Spice Girls, Britney Spears, No Doubt, Jewel) to R&B (TLC, Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston). Everything was really good. Even the "lesser" artists (like Goo Goo Dolls, Fuel, Creed, Semisonic, The Verve Pipe, Hootie and the Blowfish, Lenny Kravitz, LIve, Matchbox 20, Counting Crows) made stuff that was a bit better than what is being produced these days. We're now in an era where Hannah Montana dominates the charts!
So that's my opinion about the '90s. What decade does it for you?
