Metal Gear Solid, Best Seller?

Recently, I've looked at a few websites. I was doing research on the Metal Gear Solid series...and noticed that Metal Gear Solid is [im not sure where but...] the best seller, including a couple of more games.
Why is this?
Feel free if you disagree or disagree, feel free to give me ideas of why it IS or IS NOT...
I think its the best seller because people realized how good Metal Gear Solid 4 looked and decided to get into the series... the MGS COLLECTION PACK is skyrocketing (MGS1, 2, 3) off of the shelf!

Yeah i think that MGS is a best seller because the game it self is so good, its like watching and controlling an action and drama type of a movie, the creator is surely a pure genious, creating a game that lets the player experience being a soldier of fortune and as a spy, with a tactical espionage action moments.

Metal Gear Solid was really a real action drama and scenes are like true to life story. If I'm not mistaken this serier hit can be compared to a hollywood movie
