What is Wrong with the Tribe?

The team doesn't look that much different but for whatever reason is flirting with dead last and that team is supposed to be near the top of the division. It might be early and that is true. What is causing this team to really have a melt down? There's no pitching or hitting out of this team it seems. I am also wondering where is the effort exactly. Did this team get spooked by the ALCS that bad to not play as well? Look at C.C., he can't even get a win at all and it's a wonder what is right now the problem. It's like he's giving out runs like crazy and not pitching like he did last year. I hope he can recover and I'm trying to figure out what the deal is and what's stopping him so much from being that #1 pitcher that the Indians need. Anybody have any idea on what it could be? It boggles the mind and now you see the Royals in 2nd place and the White Sox in 1st (As of 4/17/08). Anybody got any ideas and solutions what could push this team back because they're going to have some tough games as the season progresses and early on.

I have no idea what is wrong with CC but people need to stop making excuses for him, it's early in the season I know, but still 0-3, he's lucky the home opener was won because he would be 0-4 if it wasn't....he's killing me right now. I think we're starting to get back on track, but if he doesn't...I don't know what will happen for the Tribe....

I know. The bright spots in the rotation for the most part have been Carmona, Westbrook, and Lee. Byrd didn't have a bad start in his last game he pitched. If he can get on the ball as well, that will give them a possible Quartet of pitchers. CC needs to get his head in the game. He better get the ALCS off his mind and just focus on now. I think he can recover but it's a matter of can he do right now. As for the hitting, they did well and got 2 wins. If it can get in a major rhythm. This team will be a threat and the contenders that I know they can be.
