Laser pointers and cats!

I am so excited, a few days ago I bought some laser pointers off of eBay. I have one of the most awesome playful cats around! Her name is Roxy, and when the laser pointers get here we are going to have a hoot!! I am imagining that she will be all over the little red dot!
Has anyone else used laser pointers to play with their cats? I love hearing about cats and how playful they are!

A friend that I have also has a laser and he shines it on the floor and the cat loves it. He also bought a little remote control car and he can steer the car from the control while the cat goes after it, it's so funny when the cat does catch it with his paw he knocks the car right across the room. LOL

I hope his remote control car is really small! I can't imagine playing with my cat with my remote control Hummer! The car out weighs the cat by at least 3 times!! If I accidentally hit the cat it would definitely hurt her!

The car is a small one and the cat can and does knock it around the room, he really seems to enjoy it.

Hello dear poorboy. I see how excited you are now as you can play with your playful cat to make a lot of fun with the laser pointers. I hope that your cat will get as excited as you are.

I have never used a laser pointer, but I watch Americas Funniest home videos, and there are tons of videos with cats and dogs with laser pointers! Sounds like fun. I hope they come in the mail tomorrow!

My mother in law has one and her cats just love it! They chase it all over the place. I have been thinking about getting one for my two little kitties they will chase anything that move!

Great choice! My cats are absolutely crazy over laser pointers. They love chasing them and I can even get them to try and climb the walls to catch the dot. It's hilarious to watch, and the cats really enjoy it too. They're one of the best toys you can get for a cat, I think.
