Urgent! Solicit for cookbook!

I will serve the colleagues of my husband's this weekend. My husband is a fresh man in his company. He wanted to invite his new colleagues to win them a good impress. So the supper is very important. However, I have no idea about what I should cook. Could you please give me some advice? I need your help urgently!
The colleagues of my husband are all young, perhaps 27-28 in average. Meanwhile, except three girls, the others are male.
Help me please! Thank you!

I am not certain as to what you should cook, but I would keep it with basic meats. A steak, chicken or pork dinner, possibly ham or turkey. Something that you do not season or alter to much. A nice salad and a rice or bean side would be good.

Maybe barbecue in the courtyard? Salad will be good! But I think rice is not good for many young men. Any other to substitute? Mm, I think I should go to buy more meat. Thank you very much!

I always think that when you are serving up a meal for people you don't really know it can be a good thing to have a buffet style dinner where you can have a lot of different food and they can help themselves, maybe have the table set beautifully and have a lot of serve your self dishes on a seperate table then everyone can fill their plate and sit down at your beautiful table setting...not everyones choice but it is what I like because i am so picky with food..
