Taxation - How to reduce tax payment?

I have a friend who need to pay RM9000 for this year income tax. We are subject to Malaysian Taxation. She already buy the computer, book and contribute to charity. She is married but with no children. Her husband does not has fixed job, sometime got his income from commission etc. She is working with people but I'm self-employed. I wonder if any other of you have face such problem and discover a way to reduce at least of bit of the tax burden.
