If you knew you had TB, why would you board a plane?

A woman from India boarded an international flight, knowing she had TB. Now passengers on that same flight are now testing positive for TB.
How unfair is that? Maybe people should have to get screened for such things prior to flying internationally.

I'm not sure if I would even leave the house if I knew I has TB. I hear that is very contagious and can be very life threatening.

That's completely preposterous!
When I was in Thailand applying for a UK visa I was asked to undergo a TB test. They said it's a new policy for people who wants to enter the UK for at least 6 months.
That means if you are only staying for a month or two you won't have to undergo TB test which is not good.
Everyone should be tested and carry a certificate especially if they are flying international. Otherwise the disease can spread worldwide very easily.

That is horrible! She should be charged with someting since she knew she had TB and everyone knows how contagious it is! It should be mandatory that you have to be tested for stuff like that before flying where you can affect others.
