The power of blogging: is Journalism being overshadowed?

With the recent popularity and controversy of Brian Gorell's blog and the unimaginable visitors and comments he got from the readers (over 2 million visitors in just one month) blogging now elevates into a level as a force to be reckon upon. Sorry, I can not read the full article. But I have a point to make that some of the media related dominance, aggression or polarization would come down due to freedom of expression possible through blogging.

i guess that's true. The freedom of expression are not just confined in the hands of the media and journalism. Blogging made the freedom of expression seeps through a more personalized level when online diary (blogging) is being introduced. Truth narrows down to the grassroots level--there is no need for a high diploma of journalism in order for anyone to impart the truth, or something to that effect. thanks for responding!

yes, i agree too. as blogging forced its way to be reckon with i think it is just to say that it is not anymore for journalists with degree. its a freedom of self expression nowadays.
