Superstition

Is it bad to believe in superstition? I am superstitious and sometimes, I tend to do things to avoid what I think would happen because of the things I saw. They said, only old people believe in superstitions. But for me, there is nothing wrong to believe in it. Just like when you say, there is nothing wrong in trying.

I don't believe in superstition because as the term says, it's only a belief in something that is not totally proven to be true, biblically and scientifically. Not only the old generation but even the young one's believe because they heard it from the old folks.
