Wii envy

ugh! Did I just say that? dang it its true! I have Wii envy! We bought our ps3 about a month ago.. Not so much cause we were LOOKING to buy a console (we are pc gamers, wow addicts hard core)... But the dude at Best buy told us we would get a $100 dollers off a blue ray player with our hdtv purchase. So of COURSE we got the console instead of just a player.. cause it is the best blue ray machine on the planet and it plays games too! lol... But now I have a machine that I am having a hard time finding quality family titles for. I mean we bought Lego Starwars.. and heck ya its fun... however compared to wii sports... sigh.. is this terrible or what? lol... wtb sports package for ps3 with remote like wii.. pst.

Thins is Wii is a fad. I twill probably be gone and unpopular by next year. PS3 is here to stay and you can buy older PS games to play on it.

I'd say you made the right decision. In another year or two, the wii will be ancient history and the PS3 will be the must have game console. I also predict that Micro$oft will have to come out with a newer console in order to compete with the PS3. The main downfall of the 360 will turn out to be that it stuck with a standard DVD drive, and that new games will not be able to fit on standard DVDs soon. Also, the PS3 is one of the cheapest blu-ray players on the market, and the firmware is upgradeable via internet download!
