It was a shock to everyone I think. It shall be interesting to see what happens with Bindi, and I only hope that they allow her to be a little girl for a few more years. Sadly, I think there will be a lot of pressure on her to take over where her father left off.

i adore bindi, she is beautiful natured telented girl. i think she'll follow in her dads steps but this accident is going to kill a part inside her that will always be with her. it will take time to heal,, ive never lost a parent so i would not no what she is going through, but yeah i think she'll keep his dream alive. she rocks

I cried when i first found out. He was my idol. I actually got to meet him twice when i visited his zoo. He was a really great guy, and a Hero.
I still miss him and get somewhat teary eyed to this day whenever i think about it.

It was so sad to hear. It is nice to see that his daughter Bindi will carry on for him. What a great way to carry on his name and his work with the animals!
