ok I am totally done and frustrated with these so called "work at home"" opportunities that say you can earn so much but you have to pay them to start working. Also I am fed up with the survey sites that claim that they will pay you to fill out surveys, or the PTC sites. To me they are a waste of time and money for that matter. I really dont understand why there are not more companies considering expanding there work force by hiring people to work from home like those who are disabled and cant work outside there homes, or the stay at home mom and have them go through the standard application process but have it all done online and over the phone. I truly dont understand why that is so hard. If it data entry work that needs to be done then just mail the info to the worker to process it is cheapier that way than expanding an entire office and adding walls, floors, desks, computers and phones. Home workers already have all that stuff and are ready to put it to use. Sorry I just needed to vent.

I have exactly the same experience. Its truly frustating. The way I now handle it is to promise myself that if I do enough on a site like this I will have a bonus at Christmastime. I really don't like my job or more precisely - I work with lousy people. So I'm studying art and trying to write television plays. Art is easy. Writing doesn't have to be. Its all an attempt to escape the drudgery of an office with people you can't control. At my age anyway, I'm going to need an extra income. Basically what you need to do is to lock onto something and see how it works out. Once its legit and honest give it a year and some. You may be surprised.

Hello I understand completly. I feel the same way. I have never had success with the survey sites, and that is all you seem to hear about these days. Well, that and the rebate processors! I encourage you and others not to get sucked in by these things anymore. It gets frustrating, but there are legit positions out there. I would go to www.sohojobs.org and check out their job postings. You will find companies who have posting job openings and they are hiring people to work from home. It actually is an awesome resource for legit work. I believe we are all in support of this post:o) Teri K "working from home thanks to sohojobs.org"

hi Magikrose, I know exactly what you mean. It was a hard lesson I learned a few years back. The big lesson I learned and I would be gladly share that with you is if a work from home opportunty ask you to pay then its not worth it. If you think about it why would you want to pay someone to pay you right lol. But like what was said you have to create your own job. I know because I currently work a full time job and I work my online partime job whenever I want. I work part time as a free lance making web graphics, shooting pictures on the weekend and sometimes selling some of my photos on stock websites. The first thing you have to do is ask yourself what do you like to do that you enjoy doing. then from there you can tailor your experience with what you can offer to people as a self contractor. Believe me you will make more money doing it this way then working for a company.

Have a look at http://elance.com. I'm pretty sure it doesn't cost anything to register, but I could be wrong. Also, I am in the process of setting up my own personal development website. What I have found over the past months is that there are plenty of opportunities out there for those prepared to think outside the square. Have a look at my internet marketing blog where I will be documenting my ideas of making money online. There are also many free resources and many more will be added. The blog is at http://personal-development-for-abundance.blogspot.com

Well, from my own experience, Liveops dot com is a legitimate comapny to work for from home. I can't remember if I had to pay anything, or not. Seeems like I didn't, though. (Been a long time ago). I also know a few friends of mine who worked for this company - I found out they did AFTER I had joined! LOL! Small world... There's also a company called Willow, that is legit. The real ones are out there; just takes time to weed through all the crap.

There are many companies that do hire people to work at home unfortunatly they do not hire everywhere. I worked for WAHA for a couple of years and that was at home answering phones and I chose my own hours only worked when I wanted to. There are many companies like this one and they do pay every two weeks just like jobs that you have to leave your home for. Look up West at Home or liveops on the computer and put in an application if you are seriously interested you can also search for other home teleservice companies too as there really are many of them.

I totally understand what you are saying. I have always wanted to work from home, but have never found a job I could get into, without having to pay the company first. Now I have a problem with paying someone so that I can work for them...no thanks. I wish I could find a ligit business...and one that you don't have to pay them. Good luck and if you find anything let me know please. Have a great day!

I understand your frustration! I have an income that covers regular expenses but I'm 54 and my ex-husband didn't believe he needed to save for retirement so I'm pretty much starting from scratch. I'm making some progress, though, cos I've found an way to make some money over the internet. It's not the easy crap, I have to put my brain to work, but it's interesting. I'm requesting you as a friend and if you accept it I can send you a message with details. It's very, very frustrating nowadays to try to find jobs you can do at home! MLM is usually a scam and those internet schemes will take your money, not make some!
