The drugs have taken their toll

A couple months ago, my dreams came true. I could now support myself financially making music. It's great waking up, turning on your laptop, and working on tunes till 3 am. Working with complex programs and being able to continously operate them to churn out new tracks becomes more of "something you have to do" rather than "something for fun." In order to be able to physically sit down on the computer and work for such long hours is very hard, and speed seemed to do the job. Before I could even realize it, I'm now in the depths of a real addiction. Addiction is real, it can hit any type of person from any type of background.
