how to tell my mum to look after herself first

like most of the moms, my mom tries to do anything and everything to solve other people's problems. she gets too caught up in them she ends up frustrated. often times, she cries. it's crazy. she's just sooo selfless. i think that the only way one would be able to give to others is to take care of oneself. this is something she fails to do..i don't know how to tell her this. in the country where i'm from, we're expected to respect the authority of our parents.

Tina first off Welcome to mylot, I do not think you will ever change your mom. So what you need to do is take care of her. Draw her a tub of water light candles and put in some silky bath oil for her them make her go in and relax...Make dinner for her and your family one evening... these are things that can be done with out spending money, just show her how appreciated she is.....Trust me she will love you all the more for it.
