did you ever/ do you fall asleep in the class?

I use to sleep a lot during our chemistry class as it was not one of my favourate subject and also his teaching was different and hard to concentrate. There were certain professors with whom we can stay awake and concentrate on their lecture even if we are very tired also. So it depends on our interest in the subject along with the way way the teacher lecture the lessons.

yeah i fell asleep in class. the person who was giving the lecturer was so boring. i was having trouble keeping my eyelids open. i was looking down at the desk and was holding a pen in my hand to make it appear I was taking notes.

Oh yes i did. My classmates would call me "The Sleeper" when we were in college. I just can't get rid of the habit of sleeping during classes. My teachers know me because of this habit. I actually get bored a lot. And I have insomnia so I don't normally get to have enough sleep. That's why when I get the chance I always sleep in class. At first the teachers would get mad or insulted by me but it didnt stop the habit. They just tell me as long as I know what our lessons are. Bad habit, I know but the good thing is that I have never failed any of my classes. LOL!

Not so much when I was in college. But when i was in high school I would fall asleep everyday in the same class.Trig.That probally explains why im so bad a math...thank god for your friend who woke you up.lol :)

i fell asleep more than one time and i even really did it on purpose.. i am a very petite girl..one time i am very sleepy in class and i usually sit at the very back... then theres this huge guy in front of me... i moved my chair so he can fully cover me.. it was a 2 hr class and it was so boring... when i woke up..the dude was no longer there.. good thing the professor is didnt really care about it... i know i sleep maybe over 30 minutes coz it feels like i really feel rejuvenated after.. it felt like i took a nap in a hammock... so far that is my most memorable nap in college...

Way back in College yes. i fell asleep everyday, almost.(lols) But thank God i always have a seatmate who always wakes me Up when our Professor will give the quiz or the test already. I missed those days.hehe..form the record i havent been caught ^_^.

I think I only fell asleep in class one time before. It was in study hall though. I had already got all of my work done, so it was okay, but still weird to sleep at school, but I was very tired.

Yup, it's true especially if the professor is not lively and class falls to 1-2pm, It will make me very sleepy!I didn't remember that I fall asleep but I oftentimes, play with my classmates with anything like flames and other games that can be done only by the use of pen and paper!

Many a times, when i was in my College in the theory classes, My botony class used to be painful for me, i always slept in the class room and my lecturer would pick me out and ask some questions related to that lecture that day. When i started graduating only once i slept in the Class room, it was my accounting class and i dint sleep the other night so i was very much tired and had to sleep in the class.

Yeah, I sometimes blame it on the professor who tries to give the lecture. I mean, if the topic for discussion is really boring, the professor should make means to make everyone attentive or interested. Regarding your topic discussion, I have not fallen asleep before in any class that I have attended during my school days. Even if I was bored or sleepy, I didn't give in at all.

sleeping in class does not only happen for me once in my school life....it had happen several times when i was still studying.... my mom was even called once because i have been sleeping in class for almost a week! hahahaha i think most students have slept in class!!!

yep i found asleep twice in my school in my chemistry lecture, i don't find any interest in this subject either.Then now recently most of the times in my physics lecture in the college, teacher and subject both are boring.

I fell asleep in class several times! first was during my senior year, physics class. my physics class was 7:40 in the morning and the night before, i was cramming a thesis for my English class. I did the thesis the entire night, no sleeping at all! come morning, i finished it but i could hardly keep my eyes open for the physics class. My prof didn't get mad; he just sent me to the clinic for a good shuteye. I woke up after lunch! The second time was during holy mass celebrated at our university's auditorium. the mass was held during 10am and the i wasn't able to sleep well the night before. i fell asleep standing up and i jolted awake as i feel myself falling. I dunno if anyone noticed, but i'm sure the priest did because i was sitting beside the aisle! my friends were right beside me, but i'm sure they didn't noticed at all, or they would've been laughing at me after the mass..

I didn't but many times i almost fell a sleep . So I'm in the class and my eyes are just want to be closed so i hide so the teacher won't see me and try to take a nape . But if a teacher talked to me it's like recharging my eyes for 10 -15 Minutes to be opened .

Oh, this happened to me all the time in college. Haha I am such a sleepy head I dozed off every chance I got. There was this one female professor, I don't know why, she's not that boring, quite goodlooking even, but she never failed to put me to sleep! I'm just lucky I never got reprimanded for sleeping during class. LOL

Its a sleepy hour in the afternoon. I sleep atleast between 2 to 3 and I sit in 3rd row. Though professors see they do not say anything as almost whole class will be sleeping:-)

I fall asleep in class all the time. I often get a late night for whatever reason and so just sitting still in a classroom for too long I eventually just lull off. If the teacher is just reading through something or reading it is the worst, especially if the teacher talks in monotone. I only fall asleep on purpose in class if I'm not doing anything productive anyway.

I often fell asleep at class...I do not want to sleep but I couldn't help myself...Even coffee or tea could not help me...

It happens to me all the time. When I was in highschool I always got bored with the lessons of my every subject. But the good thing is I always got high grades... lols
