Yes. I have faked being sick, just not to go to school or work. I had a hard time in school and weanted to be home. I also hated my jobs that I used to have too.

That is a common ruse,i think sometimes a lie is always more convincing than the truth.You can't argue with"I feel bad i think i am sick"

I have a few times when I went to school. Pretended to be sick. If I don't want to go off with my friends I tell them I am not in the mood to go hand out.

Yes once Ihad some important business to take care of and did no want to ask for time off so just called in sick to the library and wouldnt you know that I would meet someone from the library while I was out doing my business.so I said I am on my wayto my doctors and that avoided any misunderstandings.

Yes I have. It happened when I was in high school. I would act and look sick so that the teacher would send me to the clinic and there, I would lie down and rest and miss the subject that I hate the most which is Mathematics.
