What is the funniest thing that your pet has ever done.. I have a 4 yr old dog who is deathly afraid of vacuum cleaners and water, or taking a bath.. She doesn't like the bath at all.. All we have to do is open the closet door where we store the vacuum and she runs and hides behind the couch or anywhere that she thinks is safe.. If I am in one room and my hubby just starts to the closet door with the vacuum inside, she will run and hide behind me.. Well, one day, I am in the shower and the bathroom door was open just a bit.. My hubby decided to vacuum.. As I have my head full of shampoo, my eyes shut to keep the soap out, I feel something awfully furry next to my leg.. I am trying to get a towel to get the soap out of my eyes when I hear my husband laughing like a crazy person.. He had taken the vacuum cleaner and walked toward the dog with it, well, she just kept backing up, he kept going towards her and she kept backing up until she was in the bathroom with nowhere to hide.. When he got too close for her comfort, she hopped into the shower with me.. After telling hubby what was going to happen to him if he didn't quit, he backed off and all was well.. Until he decided to try it again. into the shower she came again.. So now we know that she is more afraid of the vacuum than the water.. We still laugh about it to this day.. she is the source of great amusement.. But she loves bologna also, you can be in the kitchen and whisper the word bologna and she is off the couch like a flash.. Well another time we decided to put a piece of bologna on the vacuum cleaner.. She stayed in the other room peeping around the door, barking at the vacuum cleaner for about 10 minutes, never one time coming towards her favorite food, but trying to "bark it to her".. And the vacuum wasn't even turned on.. She is something else but we love her anyway..

My cat would play Hide and Seek with me all the time. When I intentionally hide behide the door, and whispering her name, she would search the entire house for me. And When she does find me, she'd jump backward, make the happy sound and go hide herself, just so I would go find her. It's not so cat-like but very adorable.

Oh, but that is Cat like, cats are so much fun and do so many unexpected things.. I believe some of our pets are almost human.. I can just imagine your cat playing like that, that is so sweet..

She's just the sweetest. Fearless and energetic also. Oh, and she'll always wait by the door when I come back home. Animals are just like human, your best friends.

oh god..i've had 13 cats in my life, they've all done something crazy at one point or another..
i guess the winner is two cats i used to have that decided to fight on the kitchen counter one day.
we went to look for them to break it up and couldn't see them.then the garbage can shook.
the two of them had rolled off the counter into the garbage, and came out covered in coffee grounds and urine(the one cat peed when he was scared)
i had a good chuckle before i trotted both upstairs for a bath.

i usually only have to raise my voice and they'll break it up-then they know you're watching.
i've had a couple that did the skin skid-one tried to jump in my lap and didn't make it-i had a good gouge in my foot from that.
the poor thing looked so embarrassed he fell i picked him up and cuddled him anyway ;)

I bet that caused a great laugh.. I can just imagine them fighting in a garbage can.. Also if you have had that many cats, don't you know not to try and break them up when they are fighting, lol.. My one very favorite cat used to love to sit on my shoulders when I worked on the computer.. One summer I had a tank top on and was minding my own business working on the computer.. Well, the cat wanted with me and she tried to jump about 4 feet from a table to my shoulders, well, she missed and went sliding down my back, holding on with all of her might clawing all the way down.. I had a very rough time getting all of the claw marks to heal.. She was scared and she dug in deep.. It hurt like heck!!! But I still loved her and after my husband doctored my back, I got her on my lap and she was fine..

I guess one of the funniest things my 16 year old cat does is chasing "imaginary mice" as she even at her age now, (tummy flopping from side to side these days) runs very fast from room to room and lets out these little squeals and seems to be chasing something, so this is what we decided she is doing.

I can imagine that is a funny sight.. You never know what is going through their minds as they play and entertain themselves.. I do really wish that I could read their minds, it would be a hoot..

Our cat showed up on the doorstep as a kitten While My Girlfriend and I were home,so He's a joint cat ..Many months later I was on Webcam with My Girlfriend one Evening, and as I was sitting there,My cat jumped up onto the chair I was sitting on,climbed onto my Shoulders, lay down across them, and looked at the cam so she could see him! He'd never done that before, and has never done it since...HOW did He know She'd get a kick out of Watching at that moment?

That is so sweet, a cat is very smart and knows so much more than we give them credit for.. I have always had smart cats or I thought I did.. But our dog can just hear the word bologna whispered a couple of rooms away and she perks her ears up and runs for the kitchen.. My hubby has a bad habit of calling home and saying the workd bologna over and over on the answering machine.. I am not sure what the dog is doing when he does it but I do know that she is probably waiting in the kitchen for her "treat" after he calls.. He does give her a piece when we get home..

My daughter has a full lenghth mirror in her room. It hangs in her closet. The door isn't always open. My dog walked inthere one day. I heard barking. So Iwentto investigate. She was upset and her tuft was up. She was barking at herself in the mirror. I had to pull on her collar and shut the closet door. It was a funny.

I don't think she wanted another dog in the house.. That was so funny, I can see her doing that now.. My sister has a bird the same way and to keep him from getting lonesome, she keeps a mirror for him in his birdcage.. Pets are so funny but they don't seem to realize it.. Have a great day

I have a small cat who instead of being afraid of dogs loves to chase them and fight them...I guess since the dogs are so surprised to see a cat trying to fight them they run off...I saw my cat one day chase down and fight a very large dog and she won the fight...lol

The funniest thing my baby ever did was barking all over the place when we came back from the store.
As annoying as it seems, he is jumpy and barking all over, if I go into the kitchen, he follows me barking and when he thinks I have had enough chewing out, he goes to his daddy and does the same thing.
Daddy doesn't see it as cute as I do though

I can just picture that, it has to be a great source of entertainment for everyone.. My Baby hides when you even go close to the closet door where the vacuum is stored.. She will literally hide between your feet, looking around to see what is going on but staying as far away as possible from the vacuum or the person with it.. Pets are hilarious..

That has got to be so very funny.. I do know that they love to be rubbed, if they are in the mood.. But you have to love a cat on its terms.. But I would love to hear a barking cat..
