Do you like to pay taxes?

Taxes are a necessary part of life. I'm not a big fan of income tax though. I would much rather see a sales tax. That way, people would more money to spend would be the ones spending the most on taxes.

Of course, no one likes to pay taxes. We do have options - Congress has pending legislation which could completely reform taxes and eliminate income taxes. Can you imagine bringing home 100% of your paycheck but still benefiting from public services like schools, roads, and parks? If you want to read more, check out http://www.fairtax.org - it is supported by quite a few in Congress and support is gaining momentum. If you think it sounds like a good idea, you can also read the book that explains it in more detail. You can also send your Senator or Representative an email that you think it's a good idea. After all, he or she is your voice in Washington, DC!
