can anyone out there tell me about star rating given by mylot?

The star listed right by your user name is considered your rating. It determines how people in myLot rate you each time you make a New post or discussion here. It also gives you some sense of feedback to how others percieve you, and could offer hints on what you need to do from there if you want to improve. I have found to help increase your Star level, and have others come to respect you and want to know you more, is to start quality discussions, and to post quality responses back in other peoples discussions. This would be something pertaining to the discussion that was started that will help out the person starting the discussion. This would be a post of at least 4 lines or more if you can, and not just jibberish to be talking either. Welcome to myLot, and hope this is of some help for you.
