Here in our country, Dan Brown's DaVinci Code was really controversial, as well as the movie. It got a R-18 Restriction meaning only those who are eighteen years old and ablove are allowed to watch the movie. I think it's because of some negative things in the book and movie about the Catholic Church.
What do you think is the most controversial book ever? Were you able to read it? Did you read it because you were made curious by the controversies or do you really want to read it?

hi there,
I did read the book THE DA VINCI CODE.As u have already mentioned that it was controversial,it did too in my place.Well as i am from India, when the book came out it did not get into controversy.but when the film came out,the film distributors had a hard time for distributing it.More over even if they did, people used to come to theater to oppose shows and demanded not to play.WELL IT WAS IN NEWS TOO.Anyway thats it from my side.Keep in touch with more discussions from u.

Hi there deserteagle!
I see. So I guess it's also controversial in more countries, then. Were you able to watch the film?
Thank you very much for your response.

Hi there best Hope 44! Thank you very much for your response.
Yes, they are all fiction and I enjoyed reading them too. Right now, I am reading another one of his books, Deception Point.

I don't know what will be the most controversial book be eve, but for sure I will read it. Controversy arose when some belief's is being attack or critized and it will be the most controversial book.
I did not read Dan Brown DaVinci code book but I watched the movie. It is not new that Mary Magdalene name is always being associated with Jesus Christ. It's like Adam and Eve. It's the lady that's changing the man's life. It's like for every man there is a woman behind.

Hit here Robert!
Yeah, it's usually controversial when it's attacking people's beliefs.
Thank you very much for the list. I have seen the movie of Freedom Writers but I haven't read the book. Is it somehow different from the movie? I found the DaVinci Code movie is shown exactly as how it went on the book.
Thank you very much for your response.

Hi there Alex!
My book was sent to me by an online friend too. And like you, when I started reading it, I just can't put the book down. I only leave reading when there's something really important to do.
Thank you very much for your response.
