Hi There is Kerala if you want to experience the back waters and great sea food. It's the land of god certaatinly. Otherwise, you have Goa for the same reasons mentioned above. If you are looking to do some trekking and animal & bird watch, you should head towards Tamil Nadu and look for Mudumalai.
