Do you have any holidays booked? Where are you going? Who are you going with?
This summer, I'm going to stay in a cottage in Norfolk for a week with my family (Mum, Dad and sister). It will be a nice, quiet holiday! I might also be going on holiday with my boyfriend, we're thinking of going to the Channel Islands, but we've not booked anything yet.
Next summer I'm going to South Africa for a couple of weeks. We've not booked it yet but it's almost definitely happening! I have family out in South Africa so we're going to go see them. My cousins who live out there are the same age as my sister and I, we get on well so it's always nice to see them! :)

Yes, I have booked a flight to Latvia, it is one of the Baltic States near Russia. I am taking my baby son and it will be his second trip overseas. I will book accommodation once we arrive there and we will travel around by train. I know that it will be lovely to explore the capital city of Riga, the North Sea coastline and the area known as the Switzerland of Latvia. It has many lakes, rivers, hills and castles. We might have time for a trip to Tallinn, capital of Estonia. Most of all I would love to pop over to St Petersburg in Russia but it depends if I can get Russian visas for us.
I hope to have another trip in the winter of 2008 or the spring of 2009 if I can afford it. A trip to South Africa would be great because I especially want to see Cape Town and the picturesque Garden Route. I think it would be lovely to go to Canada before my son reaches 2 years old. We would have to go in the first couple of weeks of May or earlier. Other places that might be instead of one of those trips would be Brazil, Costa Rica or the Philippines. When we get back from Latvia I will start saving for one long haul trip. I hope that you have a great time in Norfolk and in South Africa. Happy traveling.

We cant really afford a holiday as my daughter is in preschool and I hate for her to miss it we can only go during school holidays and that makes it extremely expensive.
Me and my partner are however having a night away soon just the two of us in a posh hotel as we really need some time to be me and him not just mum and dad lol, and we also have a week planned for him to be at home and spend a week doing some fun but inexpensive things with the girls, picnics on the beach trips to the farm all things they will enjoy so a bit like a holiday but we will simply be sleeping at home still, my eldest is really looking forward to that

as of now, my family and i aren't going anywhere since times are really hard lately. so instead of spending money for a good vacation, we'll just use it to buy our basic needs and for me and my sister's education. but if given the chance to go on a holiday, i'd really love to go to Paris. and see all the pretty lights and sights there.

Hi Katfish,
Sounds like you have a great plan ahead. Good Luck and have loads of fun!
Am planning to visit Singapore and Malaysia. I had been wanting to know the lifestyle across Asia Pacific. Poeple living in that part of the world, culture, food, etc
