You might want to try CCleaner, it has an uninstaller, registry cleaner and disk cleaner. For sure traces of that uninstalled program in those three locations will be wiped out.

I sure wish I could help you with this. I have had the same problem with one of the programs I tried to get rid of also, but it is still in my add/remove programs and it will not uninstall or remove from there.

It sounds to me as though the uninstallation failed but the uninstall file itself was removed in the process. This can happen at times and can be very annoying. You could either delete the folder from the program files folder, or try to reinstall the program which will restore the uninstall feature and make it removable.

Hi Skyblue. Im sorry to hear about what happened to your computer and hope its till in good running condition that none of your files or other programs were affected. If the add/remove program of Windows did not resolve in removing all the files, maybe you could manually delete all the files by going to the drive you have installed it with like Drive C for example, if that is your default drive. Go to Programs and find the folder of the program if it is still there and manually delete it. If it does not work, then I guess its better that you let a professional do the work as it you may delete some files which are necessary for the other programs to run well. Its better to be careful than make guesses and take things at our hands if we are not sure what we are doing. But the important thing to do is... back up all your files first!
