Some people watch tv whole day. I think it is waste of time. Same time one can invest somewhere usefull and gain benifits. What is your opinion?

watching tv can definitely increase our knowledge to some extent but eventually watching tv the whole day is harmful. i think there should be a limit and one should do it on his own rather than someone else pushing him for it.

Watching TV can be beneficial, depending on the type of content you are watching. I watch TV for the purpose of gathering knowledge for my blog. Wasting time? When I waste time, I make sure I make money from it.
Can spending time on MyLot be considered as wasting time? It is good as long as it is beneficial, both financially and emotionally.

Watching tv is not a waste by any sense .But devoting whole day for that is a waste.Watching TV can be made benificial ,if we watch limited programs for limited time.Atlast TV is one of the greatest mode of entertainment

I think it's really only a waste of time if you've got other things you should or can be doing.
I dont think I could watch tv for a whole day unless I was sick, I would get too restless

I agree, I don't watch much TV, and I encourage my kids to get out of the house and play outside, or we take walks, bike ride, go outdoors. I think it's an utter waste of time to spend your whole day watching TV. We watch it, but for a limited time, not for the whole day though....

Well, there are so many things on the TV that you can watch. There's the news, to know what's going on in the world. There's educational programs, Things you can buy from the TV, ect. And sometimes you like to just relax and watch a movie or tv show. So I don't think you're wasting time!
