Have u ever wonder whether does luck actually play a part in our life. I thought about it several times but unable to figure it out. For example, during the PMR examination, all of my group of frenz got straight A's but one of my friend who happen to be among the smarthest gal in my school did not get straight A's but she got one B. This kind of things seem to happen around me, so i'm wondering whether is there such thing as luck or is it just my imagination. Has anyone thought of it b4 or have any answer to this.

hi skygal...i think there should be 98% of hard work and 2% of luck in life...whatever u do,how ever u work sometimes u need to be lucky to achieve things...there is always a truth exists, that is "whatever should happen will happen" in life .. so,do your best, leave the rest to god...if things turn out to be lucky, accept it..if not ignore it..thats my way of looking at life...

I believe that the idea of Luck is in the mind of a person. If a person strongly believes in the idea of Luck then all I can say is that 'Luck favours the prepared mind' For me it is all about options we have and the choices we make.It is the choice we make that leads us to the desired destination. Luck is a relative thing. What one person calls as luck will be called as the correct choice by another person.

Hello, Skygal. No, I don't believe in that luck plays an important role in life. Of course, there is luck, which I call coincidence. Some people say it's from God, but for me luck is only the consequences of acts, which can or not be yours. If she took a B, it means she didn't study enough. I see no luck in that. Now, if you earn a lottery, then there is "luck", which was just the consequence of a serie of numbers matching yours. Many things that happen to yourself are not related to luck. They only depend on you, and are all a consequence of your actions. Nobody should blame life for being unfair to them, when actually we earn all we have and we fight for what we love. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

Sometimes your luck is in the Hands of a Jealous co-worker,or family member or teacher or friend. that is probably what happened to your 'Strait A' friend...the one a-hole teacher decided to knock her down a peg, just for a laugh..or to get a smarmy feeling that she changed his/her destiny. Like your friends success is their failure. This recently happened to me. I was a successful worker, at a TV station, for 15 years...3 years a go an EVIL Witch, who, from the GATE, I knew would do me harm and wouldn't you know...She was able to 'poison my well' of friends, and alienate people who had been so dear to me. My Luck ran out because of her. Then there are the people who in the words of my very 'well to do brother' seem to "walk between the rain-drops" and never get wet.they get away with MURDER. Oj Simpson comes to mind... Basically Life is a game...I never knew what it was or how to play the game ."the I am lucky game"...the Game is STANDING UP FOR YOURSELF. Seizing the day even when you are depressed, and staying aware. Not numbing yourself with all kinds of "Nummers" we have in this world and just " listening to your GUT."If you say you are lucky...then you are. But you have to believe it. maybe your friend didn't want to be the SMARTEST ONE anymore. maybe she felt deep inside that she wanted to fit in with the "SIMPLES" of the world...So she tripped herself up, subconsciously. Deep belief in yourself is real LUCK! I might add...having great parents doesn't hurt either. the kind that give you self confidence...UHHHH Suri Cruise comes to mind.
