The original Christians were actually converts to Judaism. Easter only came about after the Council of Nicea under the Emperor Constantine who was a pagan. Easter is actually a pagan holiday named after the goddess Ishtar. So I've concluded that Passover is more important since God Himself declared it to be a holy day unto Him.

It depends on whether you're a Christian or a Jew. To the Jews, the Passover is the most important of all, but to a Christian, Easter is. Easter takes the place of the Passover, as Jesus is the Lamb slain - the Passover lamb. The ressurrection, as celebrated at Easter, is a celebration of life found in trusting the Lamb.

Says who? who said easter takes the place of passover? Why should a pagan holiday take the place of a Holy Day that God gave us?

I'm thinking, since Passover was a holy day already that it takes priority over Easter. Just my thoughts, though. Thanks for the comment.

Pass over is the most important, Estaer was never observed by the first century church, and is nowhere to be found in scripture

I agree wholeheartedly! Easter is a pagan holiday so named after the goddess Ishtar.
