I actually did judge a book strictly by its cover once. The cover was so intriguing, I had already decided to buy the book before I opened it or even read the back. In that case it worked out fine, because I really did enjoy the book.

Hmm..sometimes, I admit, I'm attracted to buy a book because of its cover. But it happens seldomly. However, I don't think, the cover is unimportant. I like books with covers that fit well into the subject.

I seldom judge a book or a person by its cover. I always open up the book and read some of it before I decide to buy it or to check it out of the library. sometimes the titles can be very misleading so always do some scanning before you buy or check out a book. By the way the word is judge not jug is that is helpful at all. good reading and check the book first to see if you like it.

The cover of a book does play a big part in attracting me to it but as I grow older I learn to read a bit of it before I make up my mind totally. It is the same for people in some instances. In some cases I have been totally wrong in my judgement of both a book and a person so I spend more time being open minded and allowing the contents of the package to hold my attention and not cast it off because of the cover. (lol)

yes i agree to an extent. I know i get judged a lot because of my appearance, as i am a bit alternative. So i tend not to judge. But having said that i think it is human nature sometimes to judge. It's first impression. I dont judge against things like personal style, eg, tattoos, piercings, clothes, cars, race etc. But i do judge onpersonal grooming. If someone is wearing no shoes while they walk through the supermarket and they have stains all over their clothes and smell a lot, then it is hard not to judge.
