I like my Job but....

I hate being on call at all hours day and night. I drive an Airport Shuttle van from Jacksonville North Carolina to Raleigh Durham International, and it is approximately a 2 to 2 1/2 hour trip one way, depending on where I pick up in Jacksonville these. Now when I spoke with my boss this morning he told me there was a trip at 7pm this evening, which was all good with me. I thought I would be able to run to Raleigh, pick it up and be home at a rather decent hour. Now he calls me and tells me that I will be leaving here at 9:30 tonight to pick up a lady coming in at 11:30 pm or so. Well, I asked him about the 7 pm trip and he says he is going in now to pick that trip up, so I can take the later trip. Well, he knows that I really do hate driving at that time of night, he knows that I am not a day sleeper, and he still insists on me having these late night trips, without having sleep. Have you in mind that I wake up at around 7 am in the morning, and do not go back to sleep until 10:30 pm or so. Do you think it is fair to pawn these late night trips off on me, knowing that I have a certain time that I am able to sleep, and I am not putting people's lives in my hand when I am tired? Do you think he should change my work schedule to fit his needs, after we have made the schedule? I have approximately 4 hours before I have to leave and he knows I cannot sleep, What am I to do??????
