As such there is no hard and fast rule to get good marks but still concentrating the studies and subjects constantly in the routine can help alot in the same direction.Cramming and long hours of studies is to be avoided, it can just create boredom and the loss of interest in the respective subject. Better understanding and the interest in the subject helps alot in getting good marks so according to me studying with concentration and interest to learn the things can prove to be the keys to get better performance and good marks.

Marks do not really matter when you are out there in the real world. Although to get there you need marks.. Well, to get better marks you need to study a lot. You'll have to browse through the Internet and refer a lot of books, and make notes other than the ones that are given at school or college. But all you really have to do is understand the subject and try to express the logic behind the topic in your own words..

Hello, Javaleira!
You don't need to be studying in your free time to have good marks. Only if you are aiming for the best marks of the school! Other than that, try to understand the subject. If you don't, make your questions. Try to understand what is the teacher trying to say. If nothing works for you, then get a book and try to read it until you get it in your mind, it will be last way. If not, hire private teachers.
Respectfully,
Munhozmib.

what i do is, i prepare ahead. i read lessons ahead so when i'm in class i'm not clueless about the topic. i write down things i'm confused about and clarify it with my prof. also, after i read and understand my text books, i remember and memorize key ideas. this makes it easier to review for exams. never cram for exams. get enough rest every night. sleep, exercise and eat well. it helps.

I study with others from my classes, ask a lot of questions, and pay attention in lecture. It also helps to take classes you like and be in a major you are good at. These are my recommendations for good grades.Enjoy.
