It is nearing the end of another day here. It is 5:30 p.m..
I hear the sound of wind chimes blowing in the gentle winds, the sound of the radio announcer talking and talking, the click of the mouse and the clacking of typing on the computer...
What time is it there and what do you hear where you are?

It is nice to be the first one to wake up, to watch a show for awhile and to hear the birdsong is priceless. Thanks for sharing the morning with us at Mylot.

Well, it is 10.45am. I hear the sounds of my pyscho bird trying to kill the other 'bird' in the cage (ie, it's own reflection), I hear the sounds of Harry-bloody-Potter **groan** (I'm sure the kids know all his movies by heart), I hear the gentle hum of the computer along with **tap tap tap** of the keyboard as I type, I hear the cough of my unwell child, I hear the shower going as m y eldest is still in there (me thinks me need to turn on hot water to get her out, hehe)... is that enough?
Think I've done well considering my hearing is a bit off as my ears feel all clogged up (we all have colds here). It's cold & wet as we've had a lot of rain and have more rain to come. Hope your day is going well.

I hope that you and your family all recover from your colds soon.
I chuckled at the description of your psycho bird. Its actions of trying to attack itself in the mirror remind me of the action of one Beta or Japanese Fighting Fish that I had. It was so beautiful when it puffed itself up and it only did that when it saw a fish that looked like itself so I would sometimes put a mirror up to the mini aquarium just to see the show...
I think you did very well indeed.

It is 9:16 PM here in Ohio. I hear the t.v in the other room, me typing on the keyboard, my husband trying to get comfortable in the bed and making the springs bounce, water dripping in the bathroom. Usually I could say that I hear my dogs barking but because it has been raining they are all hiding. I also hear cars going up the road. :)

i can bet that the dogs are hiding... hoping that they are somewhere warm and dry...
Glad that you and your husband are warm and dry even though the weather there is rainy.
Hoping that someone takes care of that drip in the bathroom as it is costing you money.

We don't pay for water where we live because we run off of a sistern. They are getting ready to put water lines in down here soon though and we can't wait because we will finally have running water all through the trailer and more water pressure. :)

It's now 11.24pm and all I hear is the tv on and the commentators talking about basketball (yawn) and my fingers tapping away on the keyboard.

Sounds like Basketball would not be your first choice of entertainment options and that perhaps a hubby is holding on to the remote.
I am glad that you have the distraction of myLot.

What are you hearing around you... or if you cannot hear, then what are you seeing around you?

At the time of me typing this, it is 21:29. The sounds I can hear are the keys clattering on my keyboared, my dad talking to the dog & my brother's music playing in his room.

Wondering what kind of dog your family has and what your dad is saying to it? And what music is your brother listening to?

i am looking at my computer screen, and hearing the computer run as well as hearing my fingers typing away as i type this. although i am inside, i can hear birds whistling outside. now it is 5:54pm, and still sunny, with trees fluttering its branches lightly and playfully. Spring has arrived...

Whenever I go outside, I hear vehicles in traffic going by on the traffic circle. I hear wind sometimes, of course. I used to hear loud bands from one of the buildings within the block I live at. I always have to be really aware of my surroundings. There maybe strangers asking for whatever they want. But just please say NO.

The sounds of traffic, winds, and strangers asking for things... Sounds like you are in the city or close to it. Do you miss the bands or are you happy they are gone? Thanks for your responses.

I have to laugh at that "doing the morning gossips" as I can just picture the people walking around and talking about every body and anybody... sounds like you have quite a social office.
