Pls show your Expections about Beijing Olympics

I am a Chinese, of course I hope this Olympics in Beijing will be the most wonderful and successful event. The Olympics torch seems to have many difficulties to pass. I don't like that at all. Chinese have waited for so long time to fulfill our Olympic dreams, and it's hurtful to see the boycott. I think that the Olympics should be related with sports, rather than other issues. Especially the Tibet issue. People shall know more right facts about it. I never think robbing innocent people, killing them, making fire everywhere is correct thing and this is absolutely not "Fight For The Freedom".

Hi gracelee114,good discussion.I am happy with the 2008 Olympic Games drawing near.I am sure that the Games must be held successfully.Nobody and no country can stop or interrupt it.I think the Olympic Game come so late,it should come 10 years ago,lol.I also think China players will do a good job in the Games.Wish China a good luck.

Well, I honestly think that whatever is happening to China's politics, it should be addressed somewhere else. I mean there's a proper place for these issues and it's not the Olympics. If you look at the previous Olympic venues, they're not exactly a perfect country either. They also had issues back then -serious ones I might add. The Olympics is about camaraderie and global competitiveness.

I like Beijing Olympics which is world event of all of the people. now ,many unhappy things happened during the torch passing, especially few tibet rioters. what makes us crazy angery is the prejugdice of western medias and report against the facts which befool and cheat local people .. and the innocent people misunderstand chinese goverment and chinese people. as a rational human , we all know the sinister motives of the partial western medias and few tibet rioters. chinese people welcome all of the people to china and beijing olympics. and people who want to give some comments on china ,plz ,come here and know the actuality and history of china. all chinese expect nothing but the harmonious country and world..

we are all sure that the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games is going to be the most successful one over the years. China is going to show the world a new China and the people in the world will know not to take us for granted anymore!!!
