"So...What is your star sign?"
Just when you thought this conversation starter has become cliched, it turns out we have all been living under the wrong sign for years.
You sign is determined from the sun's position relative to other constellation, measured from our earthly viewpoint. The sun resides in a different constellation each month.
Astrologers drafted the current zodiac system some 2200 years ago, but a gradual shift in the Earth's rotational axis over the last two millennia-called precession-has re-aligned the stars since then. This shift has caused the zodiac dates to have slipped by almost a month-meaning your real sign could be now different.
And if you were born between November 29 and December 17, you actually belong to a whole new sign:Ophiuchus!
Keep posting,
Mickey

Hi, I know about this form Readers Digest. I actually started a discussion about this but I made a mistake including the tags. Maybe thats why I didnt get any responses. Hehehe. Anyways yeah, my belief kind of crumbled down. I really thought that I was a Capricorn. I even started to relate to the personality descriptions on other sites by searching for it. With the new information about my real star sign, they said I was really a Saggitarius so I searched tha as well. Im not really relating much to this sign at all. Well, I must admit that there are some traits that might be present in me. Traits that I can seee myself in and that my friends have agreed is true. But all of us agree that Im really a Capricorn. Maybe its what you think you are and what you feel your star sign ins in the heart thats make you show your personality in. Im not really sure.
Anyways, it was a nice site. Good to know for sure that star signs and things are just really for funa nd not to tbe taken that much seriously.
