star what does it mean?

im new in this site and so curious why there are stars on members name, does it mean ur old member so u got a rating?

Hi Reddevil. The star above one's Id is a star ratings or reputation ratings as mylot calls it. Its how you have participated and how some mylotters have rated your participation here in myLot. You will gain your star once you have reached the 100 post mark. So, keep it up until you reach your 100 mark goal and a star will be assigned to you. Again, welcome dear!

Hi welcome to the site I hope you enjoy it here and have plenty of fun meeting new people. People get the star when they reach 100 posts the number in the star is your rating and that will go up or down depending on if people rated you positively or negatively. I hope this helps a bit, good luck and happy posting.
