Should there be censorship/rules for the internet

If so whos would they be.I personally think that the internet is the last place left on this planet for free speech and open discutions on any subjects

No I dont think so, adults should be free to discuss what they want without it being censored, I have two children and I will make sure they can not access anything they shouldnt thats my job to censor it for my kids not anyone elses and with adults well if it bothers them they have the choice to not read it

I totally agree with your sensible attitude.It is the parents who should decide whats right and wrong for children.

There should be some level of censorship introduced, but it is not practical. The internet is not a finite body but a vast array of computers linked via the system. There is no way to restrict activities across such a global network, since what is strictly illegal in one country would be accepted i another.

yes that is what I was trying to get across,who would decide.I think what we have now is the best it is going to be,self censorship.

I think there should be censorship or rules for the Internet, But I think it should be decided by the people and not corporations or governments. I agree it is one of the last places where you can just be yourself without fear of reprisals.

But where would the censorship start and end. i still feel to keep it open to all ideas and thoughts is the right thing.But thx for ur comments
