Yeah there is indeed someone who use maphack.One of the members in my neibour dorm does so.if u want to get rid of it,I suggest that you can find a special gameclient with a strict regulation on it,such as VS.

unforunately there is nothing you can do to stop maphackers other than ban them from your games. it is easier on bnet where you can check ips and ban them on the bot that you use.

I had played Dota for more than a year. But am not pro yet, because I just played it occasionally I always play in cyber-cafe, and the fee they charge is RM2 per hour. But I feel that it worth the price because Infinity (the cyber cafe name) facility is excellent, compared to other ordinary cyber-cafe. Recently I just heard of GG client and learned that it's a software to connect with other internet user to play Lan Network game. I am disgusted by those people who hacked the map for playing foul. It's pointless even if they win. It's not the real skill, and they are going to lose definitely if they are going to compete with others in the cyber cafe. They just don't have guts and balls to take the real challenge! Unfortunately I do not have anyway to counter such cheating act. My advice is, just go to cyber-cafe to look for challenger, and have a real team-work tournament :)

I played DOTA almost a year but Im not aware that there is such thing "map hackers" may be it is because when I play GG client I use to play with my friends/buddies only. Or may be they are using it but I dont know, Well thanks for this post I learned from this.
