I think it will be really successful league perhaps the best of the world for the time being thanks to sponsors huge amount of money is involved and cause of that one can see all stars around the world in a single league tournament and cause its 20-20 it might be more successful than the world-cup itself. And ofcourse we do know how Indian people are crazy about cricket ,when ICL gets almost full capacity in their matches i doubt any match of IPL goes without full capacity. It will be full house in every match.

Dear chaklipakli Yes indeed IPL T20 will be successful as it is limited period game an thrilling game. One need not to wait for 50 overs ODI or 5 days Test match to know the result. Even you can predict the fate of team by seeing few overs. I think ICC should encourage such limited over game and this will be benefited for the players as well as sponsors .

No, it will not be. The crowd is due to the presence of cine stars. I saws two games and observed that passion/ovation is lacking among the team members as they are grouped in one side from different countries. It is pathetic to see the old joshi struggling. The youngsters cannot learn from these kind of matches. It is only a booty and bunty to BCCI and the owners of the team. Cricket is bought by someone and being played according to their wishes. It is not cricket. It is cashricket now.

Its very uncertain that IPL will suceed or not. IPL's strenght lies on its overseas players who have otugh schedule and comittments that they might not be available for IPL. Too much cricket for the cricketers will do take its toll. It all depend on the players and if they are fit then IPl is sure to gain.
