What are your favorite flowers?

I'm training to be a florist this year (starting this wednesday as a matter of fact) and as such while I've been preparing I've come across alot of different types. My all time favourite has to be the Lily especially the Tiger Lily. I love the vibrant colour and just the boldness of it and the way the petals curl. I also love Cherry Blossom and Orchids. I love flowers, and the way that no matter how bad I'm feeling, they always cheer me up.

i like edelweiss for it's difficulty to reach. you have to climb to the top of a mountain to get it. but i don't usually pick it. i would rather keep it there.

I like alll flowers it's difficult for me to choose my favorite... It is just depends on my mood then I can pick my favorite flowers.. Lately I like white Lotus flowers.. They bloom at night till morning only and the petals closed again in the afternoon.. I saw it everynight in the fish pond in front of my job desk..

It has to be roses for me. Love the colours they come in. And they bring back alot of good memorys as we use to make perfume out of the rose petals when we were children.

I love lily of the valley. I love the delicate blooms, the aroma, the sign that spring has arrived. But I also love the fuzzy pink flowers of the mimosa tree. I love the scent but it brings back childhood memories. That is the tree I always climbed, the one the swing hung from, the time of innocence.

My fave has always been tulips. I love the simplicity of the flower and the large variety of color. I just wish I could get my husband to remember that I hate roses. They are too comercialized and out there. Tulips are like the ugly little sister---quiet and laid back but once you know em they are the best.
