How will you be celebrating Earth Day this year. In case you're not sure when that is, it's Tuesday, April 22, 2008. There were many activities relating to Earth Day this weekend, and there will be more next weekend as well (in case you missed out). So, I hope you are going to do something for the Earth Day celebration.
We will be helping out with a town-wide clean-up this year. Other years we've been part of coastal clean-ups. This year we can't make it to the coast so we're doing something local.
What will you be doing for Earth Day this year. Please share your plans, as it may give others ideas.
Thank you!

Well... I['ve been waiting for this day again.. This day I'll just pull off the Fuse off the main board and make sure that it stays that way for an hour or so. No matter how many BB games I'm missing, How many emails will be delayed. That day for one hour, I'll have all the appliances in the house switched off for one hour. Decrease the Global Warming levels.. Ill make sure to plant one or two trees around the house.. Some Idiots are cutting the trees here..

WOW, never thought of doing something like that. That's a good idea. I love the idea about the tress too. They've been cutting down too many trees out my way lately. If I owned this place, I'd plant a tree too. Landlord won't let us plant vegetables/flowers, let alone a tree.

You can surely convince him to have himself plant one on that day saying it will be for his grandchildren and the future generations..

I'll have a look in a minute to see if theres anything happening locally to me but I doubt it, it hasn't taken off in a big way in the UK yet. And besides that organisations on the Isle Of Wight aren't very good at getting stuff online in advance of it happening. I'll try and do something anyway though maybe I'll start off Earth Day on the Isle Of Wight.

Last year we went to a few celebrations and festivals, but we've been too busy this year. I just got my pack-n-totes and I have some more chico bags on the way. We set up different recycling cans in the kitchen. I guess the best way to put it is that we're trying to celebrate earth day all year round and we're trying to make more earth friendly choices and pass that along to our kids. So far it seems to be working:)
