I am tired all the time. On weekends I sleep in until 9 or so, and by two or three I am so tired againt that I take a nap. I hate sleeping so much. I have no energy to do anything. I do not feel depressed or anything, and I always have plenty that I can do. Why am I so tired? It is not just once in awhile. iT is all the time. I can get 8 or more of sleep a night and still feel sleepy all the next day. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions?

Some people don't sleep as well as they think during the night. You might get up to go to the bathroom (usually men) or just toss and turn all night. You might even have a sort of sleep apnea. It is hard to tell.

Maybe there is too much stress in your life? maybe you do not have enough b12, or vitamin d? maybe you have to low ferritine levels? maybe you do not get enough sleep during the week? Do you eat right and often enough?
tiredness can have lots of different causes. Maybe you are ill or maybe there is something you need to do with your lifestyle.
Hope you find out what is wrong and that you can fix it real easily

I am not like that all the time, but it seems like I'll go through random little phases where I'm tired all day long even when I'm getting enough sleep. I'm not sure what the cause of it would be. I'm not sure if it could be something to do with not getting a balanced enough diet or enough water or something. I have always heard that getting regular exercise can help. It seems like it would make a person more tired, but it's supposed to give you more energy.

Well, depression can be tricky to recognize. Sometimes it comes on only as a feeling of being stuck in a rut. Perhaps a lack of stimulation. Maybe some vague sense of not feeling fulfilled.
On the other hand, there might be something else wrong. You could have seasonal allergies. You might have an vitamin deficiency. Some people are even hyopthyroid or have some other hormonal imbalance. Even a certain cardiac arrhythmia or bradycaridia can result in feeling tired all the time. Sleep apnea or even just excessive rolling around in the night because your mattress is uncomfortable.
I sleep solo. By this I mean, sleeping is a solo sport and I don't need touching or cuddling at night. My wife, however, is more of a cuddler. If she tries to get her affection from me while I'm asleep, I will be tired in the morning.
Essentially, there are so many ways to be sleep-deprived or otherwise tired that I cannot even being to guess at why you are having a problem from my limited perspective. I can only hope that you, your doctor, or some sleep study technician can figure out the underlying cause and address it.

Maybe you have Fibromyalgia. It's so common.
