My cat has a UTI. I found blood in his urine. He is not crying when he goes to the bathroom, but he is going more than usual. My friend told me to give him crushed up vitamin C, and it is working. I take a 500mg tablet, cut it in half and crush it up good, then mix it with soft food. It is helping him so much. If you have a pet with a UTI try this before taking him/her to the vet. It could work for you and it will only cost you about $3 for a 100 tablet bottle.

Interesting. I'll have to remember that. Change his food too. It's generally cheap food that causes it. You can buy UTI versions of less expensive cat foods at the dollar general stores and grocery stores.

That's really good to know. Thanks for the tip. Just keep in mind to keep his kitty box clean to prevent further infections. And sometimes Cats like people can UTI if they don't drink enough water. So make sure kitty always has fresh cold water.
