How does a person improve star ranking after a quick dip in the ranking...

I was exhausted last night and decided to just start a lot of posts and not to respond as much as I usually do... Last night, some of my posts were not responded to.
I started one post on typos which apparently did not go over well even though people posted in it...
I am wondering if these things would have caused the massive drop from a 10 to a 6...
Wondering what causes these rapid drops in the ranking.
But even more, I am wondering how long it normally takes to restore one's previous good ranking.

It is easy to say that when you are a 10
Most of the time, I do not care about it but I still, as this is the lowest that I have ever been here, am not happy about it.
I though am happy that you (and chaz too) are a good friend here at myLot. I appreciate you.
