If you were confronted by aliens with the option to go back with them to their planet, would you go? Would you go knowing that you would be leaving your family behind without being sure if you would come back in time to see them again or come back to Earth at all? Also, if you had the option to take your family with you, would you bring them along not knowing what is going to happen once you land on the alien world?
Or...do you just say "No Thank You, it was nice to meet you but I need to stay behind"
You may not get this opportunity again...so what comes first for you...Discovery, Interaction and Knowledge or Family and your ties here on Earth?

I agree. My family needs me more than I need to experience what life is like on another planet. Although, There would be a small part of me that was sad that I had miss that opportunity. I guess this is one of those situations that wouldn't require alot of debate for a single person with next to no ties here.
Thank you for your response.
