If your compuetr shows that "computer virtual memory is low" , you may increase your computer virtual memory.I have learnt it from my friend.
First go to my computer - properties - advanced -performance settings -change -select the appropriate drive -custom size -set appropriate level (ous it is 600(min) 700(max)- ok
You are done.
Any one can comment that how is ts work.

when my computer consistantly tells me my virtual memory is low, i buy more memory. it tells me that my memory needs have increased since ive gotten the computer and i should upgrade rather than mess with the settings. im not saying you shouldnt or that you cant, or even that it snot good for your computer, its fine as far as i know, and i do use that as a temp fix, but in the long run its better to uprade. just my 2 cents, or more lol who knows

well, by pulling memory into Virtual memory, you are pulling memory FROM other processes. which is why i said its not gonna hurt you any, but its better to fix the problem instead of using a bandaid :)

I have seen this error on my computer in the past but not recently. I always wandered how to fix the error or what to do about it. Why does it show like that? After we set it to the maximum, then what? Will we ever see it come up again after that?

The error means that you don't have enough RAM in your computer so it is using your hard drive as virtual memory to compensate. When that runs out, your computer may not be able to run any more programs and those that do open, will be very slow since your hard drive is not as fast as your RAM memory. The best solution is to add more RAM to your computer. Increasing your paging file (virtual memory) is only a temporary solution that does not fix the underlying problem.

That is only a temporary solution and does not fix the underlying problem. The real problem is that you do not have enough RAM in your computer. When you do not have enough RAM (system memory), your computer uses hard drive space as virtual memory to compensate. If you are running low on virtual memory then you ran out of system memory a long time ago since your computer has twice as much virtual memory by default.
Expanding your virtual memory is like turning off a warning light and pretending there is nothing to be warned about. Virtual memory is very slow when compared to system memory and not nearly as reliable. The only way to really fix the underlying problem is to add more RAM memory to your computer.
