Do you have a welcome Mat at your front door?

Does it say anything cute or just welcome? Mine is just the plain ole staw mat with no words

I used to have one like that! My ex bought it when we were still married, so I left it when I moved. I'm thinking of getting one similar to it for the back porch, it's so cute and lets people know you're a dog lover--of course, I'm the only one who uses the back porch but it always made me smile!

Mine is the same as yours.. Just an old everyday mat, good enough to get the dirt off of your shoes before coming in.. I do have a very nice Christmas one, but can't use it but about a month out of each year.. I have seen some really cute ones, but the good ones cost an arm and a leg.. If I had the storage room, I would have one for every holiday and one for each season.. But we have downsized and moved into a smaller home and that is one of the luxuries that I miss, having room for my "good stuff"..

We use to and it said Welcome with Flowers on it. Now it is gone. lol The wind took it so I don't know where it went. We decided not to get another one. Maybe after we move, but not here in the trailer park.

I can't have one at the front door that my mother uses when she's staying with me during hurricane season because she trips easily. I love doormats! It tells you something right away about who lives in the house. Yours says you're a practical person and care about deeper things than a doormat--you just want people to wipe their feet and get on with the visiting. Am I right?

Yup, I have. The one outside the door says welcome with a foot mark on each side. The ones inside the house are just plain, no words or design at all.

Ours has "welcome" on our straw mat. Need a new one though as it's falling apart.

Actually, we don't use the front door. The front porch is screened in and the kitties love to sun themselves there. We don't want any escapees so everyone uses the back door at the carport. We do have just a simple rubber welcome mat there. Mainly to clean our feet on. Nothing fancy.

I'm not allowed to have a welcome Mat or even a "Go Away" Mat at my front door.. Stupid condo regulation... *pouts*
