I agree but i was wanting to respond about what u said about forgetting ur dreams!I've been studing dreams and sleep alot now lately and the reason most people dont remeber there dreams is cause ur use to forgetting them! I dont always remeber mine thats because everynight we fall asleep we enter different stages of sleep and so every 90 min we fall deeper in to sleep and we also dream everytime we fall deeper! so you have up to 5 dreams a night but ur mind earases them so if you dont wake up when or right after u dream ur mind will erase what u dreamt! it's very rare to rember all ur dreams in the one night but people do, do it they train there self to wkae up every hour to write down there dream it's the only way to remember! any way thought i would share!

no im afraid i dont believe much in dreams the bible says
(Ecc.5:3,7.
3 As a dream comes when there are many cares, so the speech of a fool when there are many words.
7 Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore stand in awe of God

dream interpretation is a very tricky sort of thing. those dream dictionaries and such arent a be-all end-all, because the same thing in a dream for two different people could mean entirely different things. dreams are mainly caused by what the dreamer themselves have going on, thus are very intimately personal in nature. what the dreamer felt, thought, experienced in the dream all play a part as to what the dream means, and each one would need to be picked apart individually. do they mean something? absolutely.. to the dreamer.

That is funny actually about your niece. I find the repeated dreams a little disturbing sometimes but i can not say for sure that they mean anything. I guess I would need proof some how because I just find it hard to believe because sometimes I think about something for too much and then go to bed and just dream about that one thing. So it does not always mean anything I think because our minds are always concerned with so much and worry and stress can also play its part.

Yes i DO BELIeve that dreams mean things. For one they help us mentally deal with whatever maybe going on in our lives. A lot of healing can be done though dreams.I think people can find answers to things in their lives and so on.

i go there, too. it is fun to play with after i had a dream and try to decipher my own dreams, although not an easy task because i am not good at it. my dreams tend to be surreal and weird, making it hard to understand sometimes.
my favorite dream is the afterlife dream. it gave me a good feeling about the world world--heaven. peace, pure and perfect place. untainted. almost like the garden of eden but no trees or flowers, just endless green grass pastures and cloudless blue skies. people are always young in the 20s, healthy and wearing all white elegant clothing like The great gatsby novel.
my recent scary dream is about a weird couple breaking in my townhouse and trying to inject me with a lethal injection, trying to kill me, i guess, but i fight them and tick them off. and wake up fast to escape the dream before they really kill me in the dream. it gave me the creeps.
i had a dream with an animated white rabbit jumping on my head while i was sleeping in my bed, trying to wake me up early in the morning. i wake up disoriented with the room spinning and i see rabbits everywhere. posters of cartoon rabbits including bugs bunny, trix is for kids rabbit, etc. then bunch of carrots and bugs bunny chewing on carrots.
The funniest dream, i had in college during my last year...i dreamed that my roommate at the time had opened her small shoe store in downtown area, and i went shopping there and met her family. although her parents are divorced, they were married in the dream, and her brother just stands outside smoking. (when i told her that we were laughing about it all day. she is an economics major, and i have emphasis in economics. but i think she was considering law school but not sure. i think we were both worried about graduation and not knowing what to do without connections.)

I think that dreams can mean a wide variety of things.
For example, I think in some dreams I am simply going through the process of getting rid of, or perhaps even storing, information I have taken in subconsciously throughout the day.
Other times, I have a recurring nightmare. This involves myself, as I am now, in a sticky situation of some sort (usually different in every nightmare, but in a similar amount of stress), either I am being chased, I have been mugged, I witness a murder, etc etc, and I get out my phone.
And then I try to dial 999 for the emergency services, but whatever I do and whatever phone I use, I just can't seem to get the number into the phone. I hit the wrong keys, I drop and break the phone, etc.
I think I have gotten to the bottom of these nightmares and I think I have them at times of increased stress, when I feel I do not have control of a situation.
The last 'dream type' I think I have is the message dream. This is when I have witnessed something in my dream (usually it's very realistic) of which I need to pay attention to in my real, awake life. I think these dreams are little subconscious reminders of things I have 'forgotten'.
But sometimes, weird dreams and just weird dreams :)

I think sometimes dreams mean something, but not always. If there's something important going on in your life that takes up a lot of your thoughts, or something you've been putting off or suppressing, often it shows up symbolically in your dreams. But I think other times it's just like your brain is taking out the trash, which is when you get those really strange/funny dreams that totally confuse you. The funniest dream I can remember is my dad teaching himself to fly, and repeatedly bumping his head on the ceiling because he didn't think to go do it outside, haha. I think it just meant I miss my dad and his silliness.

I believe they can mean something, but I don't believe that they always mean something. I mean, yes a dog walking on its nose could mean god-knows-what but it could just be a random thing. I find issues with thinking that an image always means that one thing. Different things need to be determined on an individual basis. For example if everything in your dream is pink does that mean your gay? It could be that something significant happened in your childhood involved with that color, or that color represents something in your life like your lover or crush or etc. etc. etc.
