What aromatherapy candle (or otherwise, please list) is your favorite and why exactly? What works to calm you down, and make you feel relaxed? I would really enjoy hearing everyone's view points on this subject.

Lavender is one of the most calming scents. So is the scent of roses. Citrus makes you feel invigorated. Sage and citrus is one of my favorite scents.

I love the smell of lavender, and Citrus does smell really good. My fiance loves the smell of citrus, and I have to agree it's a very nice smell. I'm not sure if I have ever smelled sage though, but I assume it has that "old fashioned" smell where it's not a strong smell?

I really love Vanilla aroma, i don't know how much it calms me down but it sure makes me happy. I also like pineapple aroma, but hadn't had the chance to use a candle or something with this aroma yet - but i will soon, right after i find something to have this scent.

I would love to find a candle that had the fragrance of blue spruce which I once found in bath salts. its the most relaxing scent I had ever tried. I also like apple and mint and some kinds of lavendar scented candles.

I don't think I have ever heard of blue spruce, but for some reason it does sound calming. I can not used mint scented because of my fiance's friend, whom is allergic. He comes over here every once in a while. Lavender is such a beautiful scent, and so calming to.

My favorite essential oil is lavender. It relaxes me enabling me to sleep like a baby even after an exceptionally stressful day.

You know how most people use just really creamy shower gels? I use aromatherapy bath gel instead and that is lavender. Lavender is the one that is most common used because it is made to gently soften your skin naturally and without gelatin. It's therapeutic base is made to relax the body from stress so that you can have a more restful sleep. I'm not a morning person so if I take my shower, it's at night so that I can avoid bad dreams. I haven't used the aromatherapy in awhile because I'm trying to finish some stupid Caress shower cream gel. I have a brand new bottle of lavender I bought at Whole Foods a week ago and can't wait to start using it.
