Ever heard of madrasah? I am sure most of you have no idea at all about it. Madrasah is traditional Islamic school run by ulemas or religious leader. Madrasah has been playing important role to educate its pupils/students especially about life, militancy, strong-will, religious-way of life, submission to Allah, even about Holy War (Jihad). There are many Madrasah get to well-known in recent years, escpacially amidt anti-terrorist campaign that is flared strongly by the United States Of America. His campaign is not limitted to America's boundary, but also reach Indonesia, especially Madrasah I have mentioned. Since then Madrasah is under tight control. Integrated to this strategy, some developed countries, including USA, is introducing a new approach toward madrasah. Instead of taking hasrh-measure, USA prefer to lend his hands toward madrasah. There are various decisions introdused, such as inviting the students to visit America, so that they can be introduced to the American way of life. Futhermore, Madrasahs also are offered grant=assistances. With this grant, Madrasah is expected to make substantive changes in their educational-curiculums. There will no more lessons about Jihad, militancy, and holy war.

It's great dianagnes..... Singapore is good at managing its educational progamme. I find out Singapore Islamic Organization also publish printed-matterials to accelarate the teaching of Islamic values. I think Singapore has a firm stand: Islamic Law No, But Islamic Values Yes!
