runescape vs. maplestory!!

both runescape and maplestory are awesome online games...i play both, and i like both, but there has been lots of argument as to which is the better game. i think that if ur a member on rs, then its probably more fun than maplestory becuase u hav access to so much more stuff, and runescape isn't all about killing monsters either. wat do u think??

idk y ur being so negative about that...
if u've got problems w/ kids playing games, then complain to the game makers, not the players...-_-
ur probably just jealous kids these days have so much more available to them then u did back in the 20's or w/e...
besides, in case u havn't heard, there has been research done, and it shows that a lot of games can actually be positive for kids

I think maplestory is a lot better than runescape. First of all, characters in runescape looks just awful. Just by spending a bit of money you can personalise your character so much with maplestory. Also party quests in maplestory is really fun. I think I like the fact that you can attack other player in runescape though. In terms of graphics, although maplestory is 2D it's a lot better.

true....though the upgrades with nexon only last a certain amount of time...so u gotta respend money...unless u change eye color or get a haircut...-_-
lol, plus, if u havn't heard, runescape is going through a graphic update...and it's currently beta testing for members...and i've heard that it's soo much better...so idk, we'll see i guess

I think they both are Fail Games. I played both of them for a week and compared to other mmorpgs standars they FAIL HARd. Maplestory is fun at first but then comes the Harsh Grind. Runescape was kinda horrible.
But i DO Mplay Mabinogi. Thats fun. Oh and I also Played many mmorpgs over 20 and truth be told only Guild Wars, Mabinogi and Fairyland ( when i was younger) kept me interested over w 2 weeks.
If you think those 2 are awesome find another mmorpg game and you'll se what Your missing.

well...if heard about a lot, and i really don't wanna start out as a noob again...
besides, a lot of the good ones require:
1) that u either buy the game/pay a monthly fee to play...(like guild wars, u gotta buy it, plus when expansions come out, then u go and spend more money..)
2) insanely big downloads, like gigs, plus fast internet to play...which i don't relaly hav time for and internet isn't wat i'd call really fast...
3) both -_-
haha, well...i've heard some good things about mabinogi...idk, maybe

i think Ms cause in rs if ur not a member ur not SOO KUL! and if u dont hav cash in MS sho cares... it just luks better thts all...

Until recently the games were tied in play standards. though now since runescape was revamped and thers a trade limit and no more wilderness people tend to lean more towards maplestory. plus i feel that maple story has a greatly increased graphics system in the way that they focus more on graphics than playability content.

i play runescape and maplestory, and it is a matter of opinion, if want confusing controls play maplestory, or if u want to get lost easily play runescape
